He is one of the most respected and beloved Senior member in FECA Nsukka. He has served as the Music Coordinator in one of the tenures and has been in touch with FECAites in Nsukka since he joined FECA in the early days of the organization. One of the most interesting thing that FECAites do is to share their FECA Story and Uche Ebi has something to say about that. 

"I came in an actor, many shades to who I was. I was very outgoing on the outside, shy on the inside. Many of the people in my generation can still remember my very first PraiseCapade solo (lol). I became a man in FECA. This is where I found the brotherhood that last through the years. People like Ndukwe Kalu, Ikenna Enenta, Chijioke Nwosu, Akachi Ogbuoji, Niabari Fakae, Kelechi Nkele, and many others."

In one of the posts that he shared on FECA Nsukka reunnion booklet, he talked about the importance of knowig oneself and becoming the best that one can be in life. According to him, self-discovery has been at the top of human pursuit in recent times. The need to understand who we are adn what we are supposed to do is a question that has not been really answered in the hearts of many and therefore this assigns many to a life of dissatisfaction. "I believe that I am writing to believers, so I don't need to remind you of man being divided into body, soul and spirit, or the different temperaments and all that. I must make this clear, the believer can only find his true nature in Christ, not in psychology or philosophy. I have no issue with academics, in fact, I encourage academic pursuit and learning, but when I want to define who I am, I go to the scriptures, because that is what defines a believer."

The word to know means to be aware, to understand. Paul writing in 2 Corinthians 5:16-17 encouraged the Corinthian Church to always see a fellow believer the way he is, not as the world would see him, but as he is as a virtue of who he is in Christ. He taught that a believer should not just be seen as the normal, usual human but with an understanding of his true nature in Christ. This brings us to the next word of words: "Therefore if any man be in  Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."  

When we look at the phrase 'in Christ', one could easily mistake this to mean 'inside of Christ'. But that does not really capture the thought. Its Greek version is 'en' which has been used to mean 'within' and 'among'. So going by this, it is much more than just being inside Christ; it means being indistinguishable from him. In other words, you cannot have one without the other. Hence the newness in nature. Everything old (the sinful nature) has been taken away; there is life at work in the man, in place of death (sin). He is a new creature. That is who you are!
