Wait oh. Do you know that many people are loosing out of FECA because they lost contact with their home chapters?

How to locate a FECA Chapter is one of the questions that one gets to ask most of the times when one leaves his or her home chapter and go over to a different location.  For instance, young teenagers who just finished secondary schools and are set to go the tertiary institutions, may loose contact with their home chapter members when they get to the tertiary institutions of their choice because they don';t (most of the time) know anybody in the new location. Some of them end up joining Campus fellowships and others don't attend any fellowship at all. 

Ephraim Hosanna has survived this. He left FECA in Calabar and came to Enugu to study Medicine and it took him a long time to locate FECA in Enugu zone. He was lucky enough to have made calls and they directed him to the president of FECA Nsukka chapter, Victor Chukwudi, because he came to University of Nigeria to study Medicine. 

So we have seen that when people leave their home chapters and go to new locations, they stop attending FECA fellowship. This is because the people who followed them up are no longer there to call or text or visit them and thus they feel there is no need to go to fellowship again.

Also, when people are not running with the vision of FECA, they tend to lose focus and start chasing another thing, especially the brothers. Brothers are very interested in how to make money and thus they might stop going to fellowship to go and work in order to make money.

Other things that can make one to stop attending FECA fellowship include:

1. Sin, iniquity, worldliness


2. Chronic discontentment in the chapter


3. Cliques and circus


4. Village people

Sin of any type, whether it be intentional or unintentional, has a way of stopping one from attending fellowship most of the times. So you have to guard your heart always, defeat sin and ensure you make it in life. How can one make it in this life? Simple: Attend Overcomers convention!

Also, chronic discontentment, and dissatisfaction and pride, and unforgiving hearts do make people to stop attending fellowship most of the times. This is because there is no room for the Word of God to enter into these hearts seeing that they are heavily burdened and don't want to surrender to the Lord, or maybe discuss the issues with the offended or offender.
