When Satan notices that a young man has positively responded to God's call, he knows such a person will greatly trouble him so he sets distraction traps to divert his attention from the work of the ministry.
From my observation, this trap often happens by recommending certain forms of foolishness that will be a constant source of double mindedness and eventually reduce the potency of the work.
For many young people, chasing the "anointing" seems to be where all the focus lies but if the virus of foolish decisions is not avoided, everything is bound to crash.
There's the folly of making wrong marital choices, it's a very terrible plague that can be like an everlasting torment and this doesn't just involve marrying right, it also involves avoiding the guilt of breaking the heart of many innocent ladies after assuring them only to discover they were not the right ones.
Take your time if you will but don't live with the hurt of wrecking the marital destiny of a lady because of your indecisiveness.
Many of those Ladies actually never recover and the guilt will keep hunting you if you have a conscience.
There's also the folly of submitting to wrong leaders and being in spiritual environments that are detrimental to your call and potency.
The trend now is to look for someone popular to associate with instead of submitting to those who are more interested in nurturing you than in using you.
Eventually bitterness and offences set in and many young men have to struggle with hatred and rancour against past leaders for a lifetime.
Even if ministry eventually seems successful, there's a pain in the heart that often spreads as a cancer and corrupts what is supposed to be a successful christian journey.
And then there's the folly of not discerning and valuing Edifying and God ordained relationships.
From friends who may not be as anointed but who are always quick to correct you when you stray,
To associates whom you're supposed to receive mutual encouragement and support from but they soon become rivals and competitors because you're trying to outdo and outshine them them.
Suddenly, the goal of growth becomes a "better than others" instead of a self improvement goal.
And when everything in ministry is driven by a competitive spirit, corruption is the end result.
Even the best of works are rejected by the God who demands absolute purity in intentions and motives.
Young Man in ministry, there's a trap of the enemy lying in wait, Shine your eyes and Remain Virus free.
