Every child becomes at peace with the presence of their father in the face of trouble, especially if their father is a military personnel.

 While growing up, a lot of us deliberately troubled someone else knowing fully well that our father is just around the corner, so we can run to him when the odds are against us. 

This natural act of humans helps to illustrate and understand something divine. Joy is a carrier of God's presence, whoever has joy has His presence. 

And just as no one comes to harm a child in the presence of their father, no one can harm us in the presence of our God, our Father. 

They only make reports to the father expecting him to carry out some disciplinary actions, it's same with God. 

So as long as His presence is with us, we can't be toiled with. 

All the great patriarchs of the Bible secured the presence of God, that's why they were unique and were able to do what they did. 

God's presence is a shield, a covering that we must all have to enjoy our walk here on earth.

 Not only is their protection in it, there are provisions for our needs, there is room for divine direction just as Philip, divine speed just as Elijah, there is freedom just as Nehemiah, there is hope just as Joseph.

But as sweet as His presence is, there is what to do to get it and among such is Joy. 

Joy is a vital weapon in our journey as it not only offers spiritual benefits but also mental, emotional and physical benefits. Joy helps us secure God's divine presence.

 A carrier of joy is a carrier of His presence, and so it's a weapon against the wiles of the devil. 

Joy attracts goodness and blessings, sadness attracts curses and evil.

Psalms 100:4 tells us that the only way into His courts is thanksgiving, and only the joyful can give quality thanks.

Joy is a lubricant! Proverbs 15:13 

Joy is a fetcher! Isaiah 12:3

Joy is key! Psalms 100:4, Psalm 16:11

Joy is peace! Proverbs 15:15

Joy is health! Proverbs 17:22
