Waiting, Bishop David Oyedepo calls it the 'Eagle's strength' that every Christian needs to possess.

One of the unique things about the Eagle is its unusual patience, patience to withstand harsh conditions.

Patience to sit by itself with its feathers all plucked out enduring the cold waiting while picturing it's future.

It's ability to wait until the wind starts blowing before it dives into it and begins to soar is remarkable.

This strength is required of every Christian because the seasons of waiting and patience is one that cannot be removed from our lives.

Even Jesus had to endure the pains of the cross before His glory came. Hebrews 12:2

Another beautiful scripture on waiting is that of Isaiah 40:31, “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” (KJV)

Only those that wait shall renew their strength, in waiting the cross might be too heavy for you to bear. The beatings might be too much for you to endure, but at the end of waiting your strength is renewed.

Only those that wait shall mount upon eagles wings, wings of direction and guidance.

Only they that wait shall run. Though the process of waiting and being patient may seem slow, it's the way to run. Those who wait for the whistle to be blown, no matter how long it takes, run and those who run without waiting for the whistle would end up waiting.

In the world system patience and waiting is slow, it's not the answer to them, but it's the answer, it's the way of speed.

Only those who wait, do not get weary. Patience makes perfect and entire, she makes complete.

Only those who wait, walk and do not faint. This is because patience makes you immune and tolerant to the wiles of the devil.

Patience gives you an edge of victory that even though you've done all the good works, without patience you won't see the fruits of your plantings.

No man who plants a mango seed today and returns tomorrow digging to see if the seed is growing would reap his harvest. When you sow leave let it sprout!

Patience is very necessary and in waiting, there is hope. Job 14:14
