Fruitfulness is a necessity that every man has to fulfill, it's not just in reproducing offsprings but all round fruitfulness. 

Fruitfulness in our families, our careers, our relationships, our businesses, our health and fruitfulness in our walk with God. 

Every aspect of our lives needs growth at one point it the other. God wants us fruitful,He wants our all round growth. This is because He knows the more fruitful we are the more stronger and happier we become. 

Every man gets a sense of fulfillment the moment he grows even just a little in one aspect of his life. 3 John 2 tells us of God wanting us to prosper not just spiritually but physically and mentally. 

            He desires our growth.               One of God's first commands to man is that man should be fruitful and replenish the earth, so as we consume resources we should bear fruits to replace them. Just as no one would like to spend so much resource,time and money on something and it doesn't yield any returns or worst if it's returns are bad, God doesn't want the same. The story in Isaiah 5:1-7 and the fig tree tells us of the consequence of being unfruitful.

       Among so many other reasons we must bear fruits so we can be measured and weighed. It's by our fruit that we are known, not our thoughts but by our fruits. Our fruits can be the words of our mouth as in Proverbs 12:14, Proverbs 13:2.
