I want to talk about the man that God has used mightily to bless many people, FECAites and non-FECAites, all over the globe. It is no other but Rev. Christian Ahmed.

I want to talk about the man that God has used mightily to bless many people, FECAites and non-FECAites, all over the globe. It is no other but Rev. Christian Ahmed. I have previously written about him in a different post, but in this post, I am going to be talking about his convention experience, as he shared it to during the 2022 national convention of FECA Nigeria. 

In the year 2000, FECA National convention held in Port Harcourt,. In the year 2002, FECA National convention happened in Abuja. In the year 2004, FECA National convention happened in Warri, Delta State. The convention that changed the life of Rev. Christian was the 2000 convention in PH.

According to Rev. Chritian Ahmed, who is a one time National Prayer Secretary of FECA Nigeria, he said that the convention was one of the conventions that shaped his life and made him the man he is today. According to the story which he shared, he said that "You don't need to be a national to make an impact in FECA Nigeria. See, when I walked into this convention in the year 2010, I was made a National Prayer secretary then. That was in Lagos. I remember I walked into that convention with desperation. I wish what I felt would happen to anyone here today.

"See, my own father was a gateman in a Church, like this, so even poor people see me and they say that I am poor. That was how bad it was for my family. To the point that poor people call us poor. But then, I started hearing and seeing Bro Kenne and others. They were doing well, doctors, engineers, lawyers. So I decided to get close to them. When I did, they were talking about FECA. So I asked them, What is this FECA all about?

 

He that walketh with the wise shall be wise!

"So I said, What is FECA? Look, when I entered FECA, FECA did not give me the mentality of a gateman's son. In FECA I have found purpose. See me today! Desperation is what drives you towards greatness. That's why we come for convention. 

"You really don't know you until the Spirit is poured upon you.

"When you come to convention, you buy with desperation, it is not for free. I remember the year 2000, when we had our national convention in Port Harcourt, and then FECA National convention continued. In 2002, national convention held in Abuja, and then in 2004, national convention held in Warri. I remember Western Regional Convention of 2001 titled Awake for God!

Never meddle with the opportunity of being present in a convention like this, because it is the mountain that has changed the lives of many men and you are on the line!"
