MY ENCOUNTER WITH PRAYER

Before I start this story, I must confess that I'm not good with praying so that it would not look like I'm showing off my prayer power or something.

But God knows how to strengthen the weak. And again I've told you guys how God responds to me when I tell him I'm weak..

There is power.

So I joined a fellowship called FECA Nigeria and I happened to come around for their prayer meetings even though I knew that I didn't know how to pray... It wasn't pleasant... I would come around these prayer warriors and pray with them for about an hour every week, the funny part is that I was very punctual even though I couldn't pray that long soon people started to see me like I was a prayerful person. For where?

Then I got an admission in MARITIME ACADEMY of NIGERIA ORON and God allowed me to be part of the leadership of two different christian fellowships, responsibility is one thing that pushes me (this doesn't work for everyone).

I don't like to be associated with failure even if it meant that I'll do the work alone... The spirit of excellence inside me would fight anything that would make me to be associated with failure, I don't know how the spirit does it but I just yielded.

So under the leadership of Emmanuel Eleru N the then president of NIFES MAN ORON and JCCF MAN Oron, we built a prayer team, I joined again, I don't even know who sent me, the prayer secretary Odafe Austin Johnson invited me to join him for the midnight prayers, the first night we prayed from 11pm to 2am, Omo I was so weak that morning which was a Sunday morning and I was the Sunday School coordinator then which means I am the one who starts the church service basically, the next week the prayer secretary called me to remind me to join them in the next prayer meeting.

I switched off my phone. You and who is praying again?😒
