I had to write about this because we need it now especially with the recent Hakimi marriage breakup saga and how his wife demanded to have half of all his property, but only to discover in court that he registered everything in his mother's name. And the worst case was a reconsideration to dissolve the divorce which was probably too late. Which actually spelt out her intentions about ripping off her husband.This story is quite inspiring to many especially those who are looking for excuses not to keep anything for their wives.

A Christian marriage is different from a secular marriage or a celebrity marriage.This is why if you must marry as a Christian, it is required that you should be a practical Christian and not just a church goer who doesn't even understand the principles of Christianity. A man and his wife becomes one after marriage, this is a Christian standard. These two were naked and were not ashamed. Being naked and not ashamed here means a marriage void of secrecy, ulterior motives and evil intentions.

Hakimi registered his properties in his mother's name because he probably knows that most celebrity marriages tend to end in divorce. Celebrity marriages are not supposed to be our standard model for marriage because we have seen many of them failed.I'm supposed to love my mother and take care of her, but if a man gets married to the right woman, he shouldn't register his properties in his mother's name, except if he is just doing a marriage contract. 

Most celebrities knows that their marriages can end anytime, this is why most of them don't actually marry. Christiano Ronaldo is not even married to his girlfriend because he is not sure of what may be the outcome. They are in mutual agreement to keep it that way. Should this now be an example for us Christians to follow?

Hakimi played smart because he actually knows who he married. But as Christians, this is not the smartness we need. Rather lets go to God and be sure we are led by Him before entering any relationship. Remember. Christ is the standard to follow and not celebrities
