FECA Nigeria has recently announced on its social media platforms the commencement of a week-long national prayer week, themed "Thy Kingdom Come." This significant event is scheduled to take place from March 1st to March 7th of this year. The Federation of Colleges Ex-Students' Christian Association (FECA) is a vibrant Christian organization that has been actively involved in promoting spiritual growth and community service among its members since its inception in the late 1990s.

The theme "Thy Kingdom Come" reflects FECA's commitment to seeking divine guidance and intervention in the lives of its members and the broader community. This prayer week is an opportunity for FECAites to come together, reflect on their faith, and pray for the fulfillment of God's will in their personal lives and in the nation. It aligns with FECA's mission to redeem the desolation of the land and generation, emphasizing the importance of prayer and fasting as tools for spiritual rejuvenation and societal transformation.

During this week, members are encouraged to engage in intense prayer sessions, both individually and collectively, focusing on various aspects of their lives and the challenges facing their communities. The event is expected to foster a sense of unity and purpose among FECA members, who are spread across different regions in Nigeria. FECA is divided into four main regions: Eastern, North-East, North-West, and Western, each with its own chapters and leadership structures.

The national prayer week is part of FECA's broader strategy to promote spiritual growth and community engagement. It follows a tradition of prayer and fasting that has been a hallmark of the organization's activities. By dedicating a week to prayer, FECA aims to inspire its members to seek God's wisdom and guidance in all aspects of life, from personal challenges to national issues.

This event is open to all FECA members and is expected to culminate in a renewed sense of purpose and commitment to their faith. It serves as a reminder of the power of collective prayer and the importance of seeking divine intervention in times of need. As FECA continues to grow and expand its reach, events like the national prayer week underscore its role as a beacon of hope and spiritual guidance for young people in Nigeria.
