Mr. Samuel Ezeaku is a FECAite who have been very instrumental in the growth of FECA Enugu Zone. I am going to be talking about mr Samuel based on what I know about him personally.

I met him the very first time in 2017 when FECA Nsukka had her 21st anniversary and reunion. He was newly married to Mrs Chizurum Ezeaku. They were very young and happy. I met Mr Samuel and asked how he was doing and he was delighted to talk to me. really, I can't remember what we talked about but one thing that I remember was that I asked for his email address ad he gave it to me. I wrote it down in my white jotter.

Fast-forward to 2021, when FECA Nsukka had her Reunion again, he came with his wife and kids. But before the reunion, I had been seeing him and his wife in many of the FECA Enugu Zonal conferences like Fire Conference, and all that. So he has been coming around. I remember one of the Congresses we had in Enugu zone where Mr Ezeaku and his wife came, and they talked to us, with Mr Azam and his newly wedded wife, that year.

Some of the things that I have learnt about Mr Ezeaku is that he is a gentle man and he is very disciplined. He is also a quiet person. He is handsome, and great preacher of the Word of God. He is a physiotherapist, the father of tow beautiful children: Perez and Blossom.

Mr. Ezeaku likes to write a lot. In one of his posts o social media, he writes about his life in Umudike. Accordign to the story, he says:

"Few years ago, I went to a secondary school to offer my services as a Bible Teacher during "moral instructions", the principal referred me to the teacher in charge of moral instructions who bluntly refused that I would ever talk to her students, what was her problem with me? She asked me for my "area of specialty" and I said "the whole counsel of God", she said there was nothing like that and it was not possible for someone to teach the whole counsel of God. When I pointed out that that was what Paul taught, she shook her head more vehemently. She offered to help me by telling me a story of how a young man "like me" came to her and she advised him to pick an area of specialty and today he has a "ministry", as a matter of fact, her name is on his "altar" from time to time he calls her to thank her for "opening his eyes" and giving him "direction". Shey, I have told you guys before that the blind can lead the blind abi?

I asked her what denomination she attended, she said it didn't matter (I knew already because of the sticker on her wall) but I insisted, she yielded, then I asked what their area of specialty was and she said "faith". By that time, I was already emotional, I was angry that she compared me to someone who was more confused than her, I was embarrassed that she didn't even know what faith was (I'm so sure) I felt hurt for the young ones whose lives she was using to pay 9ja bet. I decided it was wiser to keep quiet and so I left.

I decided to try two other schools and it turned out their teachers were only too happy to add my name to their list of speakers and requesting that I remembered their school and their students in my prayers (now, in all these places, I only introduced myself as a staff of the university in Umudike who wanted an opportunity to share the word of God with their students)

So many lessons to draw from this small experience but it's not for this post. I remembered this event because recently (about 4 years after) I met a student from that school, when I asked her about their school fellowship and all, she told me they were confused (she herself was an epitome of confusion). She asked if I could come. I wondered where that teacher was now and I declined, not because I didn't want to, but because that season of my life has passed, there are other assignment for the present season and I must work the works of Him that sent me."
