The long ASUU strike that started in February 2022 have kept a lot of students' minds out of anything concerning school. Students have become working class citizens. Some have married while many others have left the country for greener pasture.

The case is different in FECA Calabar 3 as they are ready to empower the youths and students with academic excellence packed in the Academic Summit that just happened on Tuesday, 7th June, 2022. (See pictures).
Speaking on her social media handle, FECA Calabar 3 media representative announced earlier that there would be an academic summit in the chapter that will see students empowered with skills needed for life. The summit happened on Tuesday, 7th June, 2022 and it was a success, because it featured how to apply and secure admissions, get good grades and apply for funds to start up a business. There were also questions and answers sessions, breakout session and counseling sessions.
