One of the most interesting programs in FECA Nigeria, since her history, is Freshers Banquet. Freshers Banquet has been the official program that is designed to formally welcome young people into FECA. Many of the people who joined FECA did so through Freshers Banquet. This is because, the preparations for Freshers Banquet is often a big and serious preparation. FECAites are very intentional about it. They go out in the streets, cities, villages and market areas, and invite young people to the program. This program is also targeted at school leavers. So FECAites go to secondary schools, and also invite the Senior Secondary students who are about to write  or who are writing their final exams. The video above shows how FECAites prepare for this program.

What you should know about 2023 Freshers Banquet

1. 2023 Freshers Banquet is the first Freshers Banquet in the tenure of the current leaders across zones. So that means current tenure executives have a second Freshers Banquet to organize by next year. 


2. 2023 Freshers Banquet across the nation is happening in the month of July. Like, most of the chapters are doing Freshers Banquet in July because the month of May was for Save Generation Next and the month of August is for Regional Conventions.


3. There is need for Freshers to attend regional conventions, and Freshers Banquet must hold before regional convention, as the custom is.
