Unfortunately, scammers are exploiting this demand, and I fell victim myself. I don’t want anyone else to go through the same stress and disappointment, so I decided to share my experience and highlight three websites that are outright scams.

1. Wazell – My Personal Experience With Their Scam

Just last week Friday, I paid for a Google Voice number from Wazell. They were quick to confirm my payment and even sent me an email confirmation. However, that was the last professional interaction I ever received from them. Up till now, I have not been given any Google Voice number. The most painful part is how they operate on WhatsApp. Their official WhatsApp line reads my messages, sees the proof of payment I sent, and deliberately ignores me. I have sent several follow-ups, but no response. It is frustrating to realize that I trusted them, only to be played like this. I did my research afterward and found that I’m not the only one. Other users online have also complained about Wazell scamming them in similar ways—taking their money and then cutting off communication. Please, avoid Wazell at all costs.

2. GVNumbersOnline– False Promises and Vanishing Support

Another platform that people need to be wary of is GVNumbersOnline.com. They advertise “instant delivery” of Google Voice numbers and even claim to have 24/7 customer support. However, many customers have reported that once payment is made, the so-called “instant delivery” never happens. Support emails bounce back, live chat does not respond, and WhatsApp lines are abandoned. Essentially, it’s a bait-and-switch setup where they lure you in with attractive pricing, only to ghost you after receiving your payment.

3. BuyGVoice.– Selling Already-Used Numbers

This one is another scammy site that frustrates buyers. BuyGVoice.com delivers numbers, but there’s a catch: most of the Google Voice numbers they sell are recycled or already used by someone else. Buyers have reported logging into these accounts only to see existing conversations, blocked access, or a suspension notice within days. This means they aren’t even providing fresh accounts—they’re reselling compromised accounts that can’t be relied on for business or personal use. Worse still, once you complain, they block you and stop responding.

My Advice to Anyone Looking for a Google Voice Number?

Learn from my mistake and be cautious. If you truly need a Google Voice number, do not buy from random websites or WhatsApp vendors. Always look for verified sellers with a strong online presence and real customer feedback you can confirm independently. Most importantly, stay away from Wazell, GVNumbersOnline.com, and BuyGVoice.com. These are scams, and they’ll waste your time, money, and peace of mind. I lost my hard-earned money to one of them, and I know how frustrating it feels. Please don’t let it happen to you.
